Why are so many people giving up their BoerBoel’s in Oregon? It amazes me, you get a dog for life…period. End of story. Things change, you make accommodations to fit your four legged family member. Period. What do you think is going through your dogs mind? What did I do wrong. It makes me sick.

It is incredibly sad that people give up their companion animals. I know I won’t ever understand it!
Keep in mind that there is a Boerboel Rescue in Oregon, so some of the dogs that are currently in Oregon are from other states in the Pacific Northwest. Tonia has over 20 acres of land, and she takes great care of the dogs when they are with her.
